A couple of quick things. That video is a bit outdated. Just to confirm, you
cloned the
current git repo and then created the conda environment as well, using the
environment.yml?

To activate the current environment, please refer to our python-awips
documentation found
here: https://unidata.github.io/python-awips/

The current environment is called 'python-awips-v20'.

Is this the environment you are running before running the test notebooks?

I have not seen that particular error before, so I'm not entirely sure what's
causing it,
but want to confirm you're using the correct environment.

We do not provide phone support.

One other option that may work for you on your Windows machine is to run our
Linux Virtual
Machine? We have a virtual machine option for CAVE that also comes with the
python-awips
repo and conda environment pre-installed.

You can download the VMWare Player application here:
https://downloads.unidata.ucar.edu/awips2/current/windows/VMware-player-17.5.2-23775571.exe

The CAVE VM (with python-awips) can be downloaded from here:
https://downloads.unidata.ucar.edu/awips2/current/windows/unidata_cave.zip

More detailed steps and instructions can be found in our CAVE documentation
here:
https://unidata.github.io/awips2/install/install-cave/#method-2-linux-virtual-machine

Please note, the current download link on the VMWare Player webpage seems to be
down
(referenced in our documentation), and that's why I've provided a separate link
for that
directly here.

You should be able to easily run python-awips and all the associated notebooks
within the
Virtual Machine on your Windows computer.

Thanks.
