Hello,
What text are you trying to edit? The image you sent is of the preferences for
the text workstation, not the actual text workstation.
If you reference our documentation
(http://unidata.github.io/awips2/cave/warngen/), you can use warngen to draw up
a warning, create text, and then a new box will open up where you can edit the
warning text.
