[AWIPS #NRD-995109]: Need help installing AWiPS on my laptop...

We're sorry you're experiencing some difficulty with installing CAVE.  We 
typically do all our 
troubleshooting via email.  I'll try and get a little more information from 
you, and hopefully
we can get things worked out pretty quickly.

- What operating system are you using? (I'm assuming Windows, but I want to 
confirm)
- And can you specify which version? (If Windows, either Windows 10 or 11, or 
something else)

- Are you able to install VMWare Workstation Player?  If it installed a 
shortcut to the desktop
the icon sort of looks like a yellow box with arrows coming out of each of the 
corners?

- Were you able to download our zipped file (unidata_cave.zip) and then extract 
all the contents?

- Were you able to import it into VMWare Player use the menu: Player > File > 
Open...?

Please let me know the answers to the above questions and hopefully we'll be 
able to get it sorted
out for you.
