[AWIPS #ORA-792087]: (No Subject)

JavaFX is not something we use in AWIPS at all. I am not very familiar with it 
but I 
believe it has significantly different architecture than just pure Java (I 
believe
there is a drag and drop interface for designing/writing code even).
Also, given that AWIPSII (our AWIPS) was developed on top of the Eclipse IDE 
interface, I really doubt it's going to be useful for you to design in JavaFX. 
Your best bet is to try and find some other examples of people drawing and 
plotting
data in JavaFX.
