[AWIPS #PEA-673558]: Grid products have stopped working on AWIPS

Hi Glen,

We may have a potential fix for running CAVE directly on the latest MacOS 
build.  I know
you said Monterey deleted/removed python2 from your machine during the OS 
update, but can
you possibly try manually adding Python2 back to your computer?

This page: https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-2718/ has a 64 bit 
Mac installer.
Can you try installing this and then running CAVE to see if it works?
