[AWIPS #WUD-852797]: Linux Installer

Okay great, that's good you got a Centos machine and were able to download and 
install CAVE.  The very first time CAVE runs it can take a while to fully 
populate
the local cache.  I would remove the cache right now (because it could have 
gotten corrupted) and try again and just wait.  It shouldn't take more than a 
few 
minutes (and is faster on subsequent start ups).

To remove the cache, open a terminal and type: 
 rm -rf caveData

Then restart CAVE, and connect to our edex server using 
edex-cloud.unidata.ucar.edu

Please let us know if it still does not start up within 5-10 minutes.
