Hi Jesse,

Dang, I'm sorry to hear that didn't work.

I think this is the issue too. Do you now have a Miniconda3 or miniconda3
folder in
your home directory?

When you went through the miniconda installation dialog, did you have
administrative
privileges? Did it ever prompt for an admin password?

I'm starting to think this is the only noticeable difference between your
machine, and
other machines which we've successfully installed CAVE (and all dependencies
on).
I assume you really don't want to get rid of Anaconda since you're probably
already
using python for some other projects on that machine, correct?
Do you have any other machine at your disposal, so you wouldn't have to
clobber/erase
your Anaconda installation?
The only other suggestion would be to fully uninstall both Anaconda and
Miniconda
*again*, and then reinstall Miniconda again and set up all your python
environments in
miniconda. Although I don't know how much work that will take to make sure
existing
python projects will still work.

Did you re-run the awips-cave.msi file?
We did change our installer to try and identify the proper miniconda path and
put the
gridslice package in there appropriately, but it sounds like something went
wrong there.
