If your station plots aren't showing up that sounds like python-awips isn't 
installed or being called properly. We've recently updated our installation 
instructions to be more clear.

None of the RGB products will render. These are found in the Satellite menu. 
Satellite --> GOES East/West [SECTOR] --> RGB Composites. Also the Satellite 
--> VIS/IR Sandwich is also an RGB product that won't render.

Also if you haven't, you can always connect your CAVE to 
edex-cloud.unidata.ucar.edu to see all the products.
