I don't think so, I believe that is to view the data using their specific
software.

The way AWIPS is designed, specifically with EDEX, is to have an LDM server
running that is receiving a realtime feed of data and notifying EDEX to process
the data. Currently Unidata has a big LDM system that we are receiving data
from many entities and redistributing that to our local EDEX (that is public)
and to Universities. However, just because you are receiving data doesn't mean
AWIPS will know what to do with the data. There are plugins specifically
written to ingest data and display it correctly. Himawari data is configured to
work in AWIPS, however we currently don't have access to an LDM realtime feed
of this data. Meteostat most likely won't ingest in AWIPS since there are
current no plugins for that dataset.
