Hi Christopher,
I'm sorry you are having issues. It looks like you are running VMWare
Workstaion with CAVE running on CentOS? Did you download the zipped Virtual
Machine from our webpage or create your own?
First thing I'd like you to try is removing caveData (this will remove cached
data). Close CAVE, open a terminal and type "rm -rf ~/caveData". Then start
CAVE again (you will have to manually type in the EDEX Srver:
"edex-cloud.unidata.ucar.edu" and for the site you can use "ILN"). Then open up
a new terminal and run the command "tail -f
~/caveData/logs/consoleLogs/*/*.log". Keep that running while you attempt to
create a warning and text so we can see the log output.
I'm assuming you are running this on a Windows laptop/desktop? I'm curious what
the memory (RAM) is.
Thanks,
Tiffany Meyer
