[AWIPS #QVN-243999]: DAF PIREPs

Hi Jamie,

Yes, that is something I noticed, and was trying to explain. None of the
records that have timeObs
also have turbulence information. Meaning it appears there are separate
entries for those with
turbulence info and those with time and location info. I was trying to see if
there was some other
field (like id or wmo header) that would show up on both records (turbulence
and time/loc records)
so they could be linked together. I didn't have any luck with the fields I
looked at. But there
might be some other way, maybe setting other options like the location and time
on the request.
That's sort of what I meant by you might need to do some digging/playing
around, to find a way to
connect the turbulence records with the other records, and I assume you're
right that multiple
turbulence intensities can be reported with one flight. That would explain why
there are more turb
records than timeObs records.
I hope this helps a little.
Thanks.
