[AWIPS #FWZ-588086]: METAR station plot error

Hi John,

We don't have any physical linux machines, but are running it on Virtual 
Machines with CentOS 7.7.1908

If you type in "which python" does it point to the default 
/awips2/python/bin/python?

There is a Linux VM that already has it installed that you could possibly try: 
https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/awips2/unidata_cave.zip
