[AWIPS #GXY-460628]: Issues with recently installed EDEX Server

Hi Brian,

Okay, that's good to have that figured out. I suppose I should have mentioned
that I always use sudo
if I need to run as root, not su.
To double check things are running properly, run edex status and look at the
pids of all the processes
then run ps -aux | grep [pid] and take a look at the user that is running the
processes (one of the
first components of the row that is returned from that command). You will need
to do this for each
of the separate pids you have for each of the processes that are running
(EDEXingest, EDEXgrib, EDEXrequest,
ldmadmin, postgres, qpid, and pypies).
Sounds like you have things mostly under control now!
Sorry for your troubles.
