16.16 Opaque Example
A CDL example shows an opaque data type used for 11-byte raw sensor
data records.
sensor.cdl example
- Note that each value is 11 bytes, displayed in hexadecimal
notation.
- If this data were represented as a multidimensional array of bytes
instead, no fill value would be possible.
Here is C code that creates the corresponding netCDF file, generated
by running:
ncgen -k 3 -l C sensor.cdl > sensor.c
