4.4 Loop Control System - Adding Image Frames

You can create additional image frames after McIDAS has been started using the MAKFRM command. New image frames are added to the end of the current frame list. The default size of the new frame is the same as that of the frame currently displayed.

  1. Add two new frames the same size as the current frame (480 x 640) to your McIDAS session.

    Type: MAKFRM 2

    Two frames are added to the session, giving you eight frames.

  2. Check the number of image frames for this session.

    Press: Alt F

    Status information for your workstation is displayed as shown below. The number of available frames is six.

  3. Exit McIDAS.
