Travel and Lodging Information

Unidata has reserved blocks of rooms at two hotels convenient to the workshop location.

Once you complete the registration form, if Unidata will be covering your travel and lodging, we will book a room in your name. (The Workshop Registration page details which expenses might be paid by Unidata.)

If Unidata is not covering your travel and lodging, you can still take advantage of the the group room rate at the Courtyard Marriott hotel ($195 per night), but you will need to contact the hotel yourself to do so. (Use this link to reserve your room.)

Note that you must book your room no later than 25 May 2018 to receive the workshop rate.

For more information on whether Unidata will cover your travel and lodging costs for the workshop, see the Registration page.

Ground Transportation from Denver International Airport

Unidata will not be covering ground transportation costs, but we would like to recommend Green Ride Boulder at 303.997.0238 and Super Shuttle at 1-800-258-3826 as options for travel between the airport and Boulder.

Public transportation from Denver International Airport to downtown Boulder is comfortable and inexpensive. See the Regional Transportation District (RTD) schedule for the AB route. Cash fares on the AB route are $9 each way. Local fares within Boulder are $2.60 each way.

Ground Transportation to Workshop Sessions

Unidata will provide transportation during the workshop between the workshop hotel and the workshop site.

Workshop participants can also ride the free UCAR shuttle buses that run between the Mesa Lab, Foothills lab, and various stops in Boulder, including a stop located a short walk from the workshop hotel.
