[netCDF #YFO-861586]: nc_inq crashes

Hello,

Can you provide the file in question? This seems like an issue that needs to be 
addressed, but tyhe first step will be for me to recreate the issue.  
Additionally, were you able to open this file properly using netCDF 4.4.1 or 
any other previous version?
