[netCDF #DXQ-217091]: Regrid Netcdf file to lower resolution

Hello Phani,

NetCDF does not come with tools to do what you are looking for out of the box.  
You will either need to write software yourself using the C, Fortran, Python, 
etc, libraries, or use software that knows how to regrid netCDF natively. 

The first thing that leaps to mind is ESMF, available here:

* http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/ESMF.shtml

However, I am not certain that this does exactly what you are looking for.  You 
might also peruse the list of software which uses netCDF, available here:

* http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/software.html

If ESMF does not suit your needs, there may be a package listed that will.
