[netCDF #NGT-664990]: Undefined symbol for architecture x86_64

Hello,

It appears that the file `ctest.c` is empty; can you confirm this?  In the same 
directory, there is a file called `ref_ctest.c`; what happens if you copy that 
to `ctest.c` and run `make check` again?
