[McIDAS #WFF-597037]: Convert McIDAS AREA to NETCDF

You can setup ADDE datasets using older data as well.  In fact, you could setup
an ADDE dataset definition that has a single file as its set of files, and
then change that file for each member of your archive.  The easiest way to
do that would be to change a soft link in a script before running the script
for each new file to be converted.  I have used this approach many times in
the past, and it works nicely.

The crux of the problem is that "something" needs to be able to convert
between the raw values stored in the file and the calibrated values
that they represent.  This is one of the functions of an ADDE server,
so why not use this approach?
