[McIDAS #WIM-982947]: Opinion Question

I think so, but it depends on what the effective radius image is
really telling us.

Question:

- how do the GR2 and 10.7 um IR images compare side by side for
  20:25?

Questions:

- does LOC/AREAS.3003 already exist when you run this?

  If yes, try deleting the file first:

LWU DEL AREA3003
IMGCOPY G13/IR27APR11 LOC/AREAS.3003 TIME=20:25 LAT=30:00 86:30 SIZE=320 320 
PRO=MERC RES=6

- What happens if you change PRO=MERC to PRO=RECT?

What stuck me just now is the effective radius image looks like it is in the 
original
satellite projection which means that the PRO=MERC RES=6 keywords had no effect.
