[McIDAS #AKP-990660]: GOES-12

No, GOES-12 does provide 13.3 um coverage.  Here is a BAND listing from
McIDAS for GOES-12 images being ingested here in UCAR:

As you can see from this list, BAND 6 is 13.3 um.

Is this listing from GEMPAK, and, if yes, what version of GEMPAK are you 
running?

It is very likely that the McIDAS tables being used by your old (2004)
distribution of ldm-mcidas do not have the needed up to date information.
There is a new version of ldm-mcidas (2008) that you can download and use.
