Good catch.  The typo in the URL reference has now been corrected.

The bogus size was a result of the file not existing in the directory,
another good catch.  The mcupdate.tar.gz file now exists with the trivial
contents of the VERSION.TXT and CHANGES.2008 files from the distribution.
The content of this file won't change until there has been an addendum
(i.e., bugfix) release.
