No, the makefile needs to be modified to include the programs.  I
am attaching a modified makefile.  NOTE: the new makefile might cause
problems with the rest of the build, so make a backup copy of the
original file before proceeding (or wait for the addendum to be
released):

<as 'mcidas'>
cd ~mcidas/mcidas2007/src
cp makefile makefile.orig
-- copy the new makefile to the ~mcidas/mcidas2007/src directory

make modiaget.k
make modiadir.k

ln modiaget.k modiadir.k ~/bin

The easiest thing to do (for both of us) would be to wait for the addendum...
