I tried rebuilding McIDAS on rainbow from scratch (after adding definition
of VENDOR in ~mcidas/.cshrc); redoing the list of decoders that would run;
and restarting the LDM.  This did not fix the problem.

Given the strange names of files listed above, I would guess that some
array is overflowing.  Exactly where this is unknown to me.  It will take
some digging to find out exactly what is going on.  This will need to
be done on rainbow since I am not seeing the problem on other Linux
machines.
