[LDM #SWB-825395]: LDM question: sticky bit

The ldmadmin(1) script is responsible for initial creation of the LDM log file 
-- so if its not being used and that's not done, then the log file will be 
owned by root if logging is through the system logging daemon. If that's the 
case, then I suggest modifying your scripts so that they touch(1) the log file 
before executing the LDM.

Quite likely.

Yeah. That's a perennial problem. RPM-s are good for Red Hat based systems, but 
not for all others; hence the lack of support for binary installations.
