[Support #GHG-536605]: Fwd: ldm-relay1 problems



Hi Donna,

Steve and I would like to talk to you this afternoon while you are logged onto
earthdata.  My phone number is 303.497.8642, and Steve's is 303.497.8648.
I may have to leave the office in the next 15 minutes or so (to checkup on
our GOES-R satellite dish installation up at the NCAR Mesa Lab), but Steve
should be here until 4 pm MST.

One of the things that we will be asking you to do is:

- on earthdata run:

  ps -u ldm
  cat ~ldmd.pid

  What we are interested in seeing is if the lead LDM server (ldmd) is
  (still) running.  The netstat output you sent doesn't show an LDM
  LISTENing on port 388, and this should mean that the lead 'ldmd'
  process has exited.

- get you to look through the LDM log file to see if there are any
  indications of why things are not working
