[LDM #EUG-328766]: LDM 6.12.6 crashed with segfault

You should have a crontab(1) job that shifts and purges the log files. See

I suspect that SELINUX is set to "permissive" rather than "disabled". Check 
"/etc/selinux/config".

I don't recall what a "crying tab service" is.
