The "--localstatedir" option won't work for the reason I gave previously. If it 
did, then the new installation wouldn't use the same product-queue as the 
previous installation.

You should have used the command "make install <&! install.log", instead, so 
that you wouldn't be bothered by the ignorable warnings.

The example has 5 fields before the command. Look closely.

Then you'll have to remove all the pre-6.9 LDM installations.

You *might* be able to get-away with simply removing the ~/data directory and 
then executing the configure(1) script.

Whoa! The above error messages indicate that your product-queue is corrupt!

What's the output from the following commands?
