The above indicates that the product-queue module (pq) couldn't create a write-lock on a section of the product-queue (the header section). This is very bad and would seeming indicate a major problem with your operating system.

Is the file "/usr/local/ldm/data/ldm.pq" on local disk or is it on a RAID or NFS-mounted disk? The product-queue must be on local disk.

I am working from the most recent stable release of LDM (6.6.4) on a
64-bit dual-dual x86_64 Xeon system under Centos 4.4, if that helps.
