That won't affect anything as long as the LDM on Branch was built from
scratch.

I just ran a version 6.0.14 LDM on a RedHat 9 system that's outside our
coporate firewall and successfully connected-to and received data from
an LDM 6.0.14 running inside our corporate firewall -- so I don't think
RedHat 9 is the problem.
