Re: help on IDV

Hi Don,

Thanks for your quick response. I'm not sure if it is the "share" feature I should use or not.

What I'd like to do is, set up one window first, then use the same size, setting for other 6 windows, so that with one job I can make 7 similar plots, for different level CO mixing ratios. Is there any way I can do this?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Debbie
Hi Debbie-

If I understand correctly, use the Projections->Share Views menu. You can also use the Projections->Set Share Group to set different groups for different displays. By defaults, once you check on Share Views, all displays are in the default group.

BTW, I'm not at Unidata anymore, so it's best to send these to address@hidden (which I still check) so Yuan (and the new IDV developer) can help you out if I'm not around.

Hi Don,

I'm a bad student, could not remember how to share one display for other
windows, since I like to do 7 plots at one time. For MOPITT V4, I
manually matched 7 the same. You mentioned a good way when we had IDV
class, but just could not figure it out. Could you please give me a
hand? I try to use better color table to do the plotting for MOPITT V5
products.

Thank you very much.
