[IDV #KFS-225548]: Default background maps hidden

If you are using a 3D display, is the map there if you view it from below?
I'm guessing not and it's a problem with the projection.

A couple of suggestions:

- Turn on/off Fast Rendering for the map (in the Map Display Control)
- upgrade to IDV 2.7.  There are some fixes in there for issues like
this.
