[IDV #YTE-634929]: Questions about Avalanches, Scales Color, and NAM vs GFS precipitation analysis.

According to the WMO docs on the parameters, W/m2 is the correct unit:

(parameter 200). In this case, they are looking at evaporation in terms of
energy per unit area.  Here's a web reference I found:

that helps explain this.  I think that W/m2 is equivalent to mm/s since
precipitation and evaporation are generally in terms of kg/m2 (roughly
1 mm of water) and the s-1 would give you the rate.
