[LDM #HHK-349534]: LDM data feed down

Hi Wanhong,

re:
> I got data feeding from uni20.unidata.ucar.edu on our server weather.uky.edu.

I see the approved connection from 'notifyme' in the LDM log file on
uni20.unidata.ucar.edu, excellent! Did something change on your end?
Nothing changed on ours!!

Now, you need to stop contacting uni20.unidata.ucar.edu directly and try
the 'notifyme' to idd.unidata.ucar.edu. (NB: we do NOT want downstreams
to connect directly to individual real server backends of our relay
cluster other than for testing purposes. Connections that stay past
the testing phase will be blocked on our end!). Once a 'notifyme' to
idd.unidata.ucar.edu works, you need to change your REQUEST(s) in your
LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf and then restart your LDM.

re:
> I have to find backup feed server.

Since something on the UKy end had to have changed (so that the
REQUEST(s) come through on the requesting machines own IP address
and not 128.163.8.100), you should be able to redundantly REQUEST
from either idd.meteo.psu.edu and/or idd.tamu.edu.

re:
> Thanks.

No worries.

So, what changed?

Cheers,

Tom
