[IDD #GOK-818269]: Help -- NEXRAD3 feed no longer working, along with some GOES imagery from UNIWISC

Hi Gary and Marcus,

OK. Marcus will need to make the REQUEST changes on gwoemul.wiu.edu (since I
don't have SSH access to the machine).

Marcus:

Here is the first change you should make:

add:

REQUEST NEXRAD3 ".*" idd.unidata.ucar.edu

to ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf and then restart your LDM.

If this test results in high latencies/loss of data currently being ingested, I
will be convinced that there is not enough bandwidth to get the data you want.
Gary will then adjust some network settings, and we can observe the results.

If, on the other hand, this addition does not increase latencies for the feeds
you are already getting, we could try adding an additional data request(s):

REQUEST FNEXRAD ".*" idd.unidata.ucar.edu

FNEXRAD contains composites created from all NEXRAD Level III base
reflectivity products every 5 minutes.

If this still does not affect product latencies, we could try adding in a
request for the higher resolution model output in the NGRID feed:

REQUEST NGRID ".*" idd.unidata.ucar.edu

In all cases, please remember that your LDM needs to be restarted after
modifying
the actions in ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf.

Cheers,

Tom
