Reminder: shu1 does have an allow to feed from our machine:

idd.unidata.ucar.edu

..if needed.

Also, we are not seeing any "stats" from shu1, please check that the exec 
command for rtstats is in the 

Exec Entries 

section of your ldmd.conf file as it is on shu
