[IDD #WHP-619598]: NLDN access

Hi Jack,

Well, not knowing what application you will be using to view/access the data,
it is difficult to craft a pqact.conf entry.

We use GEMPAK, if you use GEMPAK for display, it should look like this:

################################################################################
# GEMPAK Point source decoders
#
# NLDN lightning data
NLDN .*
        PIPE decoders/dcnldn -m 25000 -b 30 -s minute05
        -d data/gempak/logs/dcnldn.log
        -e GEMTBL=/home/gempak/NAWIPS/gempak/tables
        data/gempak/nldn/YYYYMMDDHHNN_nldn.gem

You may just wish to "FILE" the data and not pass to a decoder if not using
GEMPAK. If you still need clarification on how to execute the "FILE" action
instead of the "PIPE" let us know...of course we also do not know where you
will want to "FILE" it to.

Here is a sample "FILE" command entry from another feed type:

# JASON data
HDS ^ISZ.01 LFPW ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])
        FILE data/gempak/jason/(\1:yyyy)(\1:mm)\1\2.bufr

Remember, white space in pqact.conf need to be "TABS" not "spaces"

Let us know how things are going and how we can help further.

Cheers,

Jeff
