Re: CRAFT feed dead?

Tyler,

Of course, I'm on vacation this week, we should have expected this :) idd.aos.wisc.edu feeds CRAFT data from purdue, who also seems to be having CRAFT issues:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/rtstats/iddstats_nc?NEXRAD2+weather.eas.purdue.edu

I've cc'd this to support.unidata.ucar.edu, and also to the ldm support at purdue, hopefully they can look into what is up with that.

Thanks for letting me know!

Pete

hi folks,
while weather.eas.purdue.edu seems to be having problems, neither of the two main servers, castor or pollux seem to be having problems, so it might be just in EAS. If you are one of the two universities that are supposed to be feeding off of Purdue, then you should be pointed at castor or pollux and not weather. Please let me know if I can help more,

Matthew, et al,

It looks like we actually are already feeding off of those. I actually have the names wisc.weather.purdue.edu and wisc-alt.weather.purdue.edu, which appear to be aliases that point to castor.eas.purdue.edu and pollux.itap.purdue.edu.

At any rate, it appears that my feed has been stable since about 22 UTC 17, so whatever was going on seems to have resolved.

Thanks,

Pete
