[Support #ZQO-437545]: request for IDD connection

Hi Kent,

No worries, a topology is a network set-up for data delivery....

I will contact SDAPCD, and ask them to place an allow for your machine to
ingest data.

If we run into problems, we can feed you on an interim basis until either
SDAPCD or a university accomodates us.

I am out of the office tomorrow, please view:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/ldm-current/basics/feedtypes/

to see what data feeds you may desire

and view:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/data/

for some explanation of the data.

I will contact SDAPCD to see if they are willing to feed you, and we will
proceed from there.

Is the LDM installed on your system yet?

If not, that would be a good start...I suspect from your "domain" name of the
machine, that this may be a install from a vendor, and that GEMPAK and the LDM
were pre-installed.

Not a problem to get up and running by July 1, normally we can get things going
in a day, if all systems have standard installs, etc...otherwise more tome may
be needed...SDAPCD took a bit of time, but hopefully we learned from that one
:)

Cheers and welcome aboard!

Jeff
