Re: 20051123:IDD Server Address San Diego County

Hi Jean,

The e-mail is used to contact the site administrator.

We have an "ldm-users" e-mail list that is used for topical discussions
and notifications of outages, etc...

I encourage ALL who will be using the LDM to subscribe to this list, it
can be done at:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/support/mailinglist/mailing-list-form.html

The e-mail address we ask for at time of registration should be that of
the individual maintaining the LDM..this may be a prof, scientist, or an
IT person..depends on institute.

So, most user stuff will get sent to the list "ldm-users" and IT stuff
should be send individually to the point of contact (LDM maintainer).

Hope this clears things up...

Cheers,

Jeff
