Hi David,
I am not certain how WSI generates their product, but I ~believe they are
using level III products...
Unidata provides a 1km base refl mosaic, but that utilizes the lowest
tilt/scan NIDS product.
We are working with NSSL to begin delivering a level II radar reflectivity
composite, but it is still in the works.
I suspect it (the WSI product) is akin to the NCR level III product,
NEXRAD Composite Reflectivity, which you could also mosaic yourself
utilizing GEMPAK and its routines....
Are you ingesting the Unidata 1km BREF mosaic?
