I do not think we are/were using the "nodak" in the domain name.

Can you place the allow for the IP, or perhaps also allow:

adiabat.rwic.und.nodak.edu

alongside

adiabat.rwic.und.edu

I suspect the reverse DNS is returning:

adiabat.rwic.und.nodak.edu

and the allow is for:

adiabat.rwic.und.edu
