Re: McIDAS Satellite AREA (fwd)

Considering we all get MCIDAS from unidata.ssec.wisc.edu, it may be the
ISP you are using is getting saturated. I see tho you are on abilene..so
that is probably not the issue, but when we see only these large area
files not getting through, but all others, and nothing in your logs....we
start looking at connectivity.

I notice with doing a traceroute we have a real bad hop right before
yin...it hangs and hangs and hangs....

Do you know what machine  141.213.101.3 is?

That seems to be a bit of a sticky spot.

We can attempt to find you another feed for MCIDAS, but I do not think
that is the issue.
