Re: 20010830: LDM Usage Brazil

Hello David,

Let's see what we can get to you..

We have placed an ALLOW WMO for you on motherlode.ucar.edu

So place your request for WMO from motherlode.ucar.edu

Then you will need to stop and start your ldm for the changes to take
place.

the WMO feedtype "group" includes feeds 0,1,2, & 3..

Please see:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/ldm/feedtypes/

I have purposely eliminated the McIDAS feed as it is quite large and can
provide problems if the connectivity is not sufficient. Also, the farthest
south the imagery contains is about 3S, not much Brazil coverage.

Please see:

http://mcdemo.unidata.ucar.edu/index.html

to view some sample products, they may fall in your region of study.

But if not it would be best, at least at first, to keep them out of the
feed, to make sure all is operating smoothly. Then we can ramp up the
product load, and hopefully get you connected to someone close to the
Miami fiber optic US -offlink..

Good luck and please keep me posted as to your progress,

-Jeff
