IDD Statistics

LDM-IDD users,

With the addition of radar data being delivered via the IDD (starting
01/01/01), it is important that ALL sites are reporting their statistics
to the Unidata Program Center. This will help us to monitor the extra load
from the NEXRAD products and to provide qualitative feedback to better
serve the community.

To see if your site is currently reporting statistics to the UPC you can
check the FOS latency page:

http://unidata.ucar.edu/projects/idd/status/idd/fosTopo.html

You may be reporting statistics correctly, but if your upstream host is
not, your statistics will be missing. That is why it is so important for
everyone to report their statistics. This way the latency and routing
web-pages will more accurately depict the current condition of the IDD
network. If your site is sending in statistics and they are not
showing up on the web pages, please let us know after checking process
described in URLS below.

To ensure your statistics are being generated and then mailed to the UPC
please follow the instructions at the following URLS:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/man-cgi?pqbinstats+1

and

http://unidata.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/man-cgi?mailpqstats+1

At this time we also request that you check the sitelist for any changes
or updates to your connections, machine names, site administrator, etc.:

As always, please direct questions to address@hidden

Thank you,

-Jeff
