[GEMPAK #YXO-960516]: NLDN data in GEMPAK



Hi Kyle,

I do not have any experience with NLDN data in .dff format, so my help here may 
be limited.  But I would think that running the "raw" NLDN files through the 
DCNLDN decoder should work.

For example, "dcnldn nldn.gem < nldn_2014_063.dff" will create a GEMPAK point 
file nldn.gem which can then be displayed using any of the SF graphics 
programs.  

I would say try that first, see where it takes you, and write me back if you 
have more questions.  If you're new to GEMPAK and need help with creating the 
overlay once your data are in the right format, I'm here to help with that.
