[Support #UAL-239105]: Help viewing SSEC archived satellite data in garp

Art,

The images are 2 byte, and the visible has values from 1 to 276,
so the 0-1024 range is probably correct (rather than the 32K value).
The time is 0215Z so most of the image is probably night, should be in the low
dark range. A daytime image should be more in the max range of 1000.

The problem with the IR is that is a multiband image. Eg, with word 19=30,
it contains 4 IR bands (3.9 IR2, 6.7 WV, 10.7 IR, and 12.3 IR5). Because the
sensor is the bitwise OR of each sensor, it won't have a match in the
imgtyp.tbl.
GEMPAK doesn't have a facility to split out the separate images from within the
file.

McIDAS can IMGCPY the multiband image pieces, but Tom is out of the office
today.
I'll ask him tomorrow for suggestions if tghe archive data can't be provided in
separate files.
