20041210: GFUNC=P48M vs. filing by forecast hour



Art,

By using the file type alias, such as GFS004, GEMPAK will
be able to open the files needed for the computations.

I just verified that I was able to plot P048M for
gdattim=f048-f084 at 3 hour time steps.

You wouldn't be able to do this if you were using a filename for GDFILE instead
of an alias however.
