20030923: dcgrib converting



Seth,

Once you have a GEMPAK grid file (using dcgrib2 preferably), you can use 
the GD programs to plot the data.

To use a GUI such as NMAP2, you need to name file according to the templates
defined in $GEMTBL/config/datatype.tbl (or add your own data set name to
the table) and place your data file in the directory specified
in that entry. If you add your own data set alias, then that name will need to
be added to the appropriate plot descriptions in $GEMTBL/nmap/mod_res.tbl.
